BREAKING: Head on cruiser crash sends officer and other driver to CCH… [HN VIDEO]
CENTERVILLE – As you will see in the following HN Video, a Barnstable Police Patrolman and the female driver of a second vehicle were taken to CCH after a head on crash involving a cruiser this afternoon…
The crash happened at about 4:00PM, at the intersection of Great Marsh Road and Yacht Club Road.
Both drivers were banged up, but conscious and alert… The officer’s head was heavily bandaged, but sources on scene didn’t believe his injuries were life threatening. The female was able to communicate with medics, but her condition is unknown at the time of this report.
The road was completely shut down for a period of time, as a Barnstable Police accident reconstruction expert documented the scene. A member of the Barnstable Sheriff’s Crime Scene Investigation unit was also on hand taking photos…
No further details are available at the time of this report. The Barnstable Police is the primary agency investigating the crash. [DEVELOPING]
