*** WATCH *** Five transported to Cape Cod Hospital after head-on...

CENTERVILLE – Five people (two who appeared to be teenagers) were transported Cape Cod Hospital after a head-on crash on Old Stage Road near the intersection with Nottingham Drive shortly before 7:00 a.m. this morning. Both vehicles were heavily damaged and remained in the roadway as five separate ambulance crews responded to the scene. Barnstable Police shut down traffic in both directions as EMTs and a Barnstable Sheriff’s photographer worked the scene. Of the five transported to the hospital, two appeared to be teenagers/school age. All patients were conscious and alert… and injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
