COPS: Combative female grabbed one officer, then attempted to bite others…
FROM THE WAREHAM PD: Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at 7:44 p.m. – Officers Nate Aronson, Eric Kanavos, and Eric Machado responded to the Church of the Nazarene on Rogers Avenue for a reported disturbance. This is the location of a shelter for homeless individuals. Upon arrival, officers observed three parties yelling at staff inside the building. As a result of the incident four subjects were placed under arrest. They were transported to Police headquarters for processing. At the station one of the arrested parties, Tiffany Sylvia, became very combative. During the process she grabbed an officer, and then attempted to bite other officers. While being escorted to a holding cell she began to fight again, causing Officer George Dionne to fall and strike his head on the floor. She then charged at the officer and a Taser was deployed to bring her under control. All four were held and [were] expected in Wareham District Court [Wednesday] morning.
Caitlin Williams, 28, of Wareham, was charged with disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace.
Tiffany Sylvia, 29, of Onset, was charged with assault and battery on a police officer (2 counts), disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, resisting arrest, and trespassing.
Stephen Parece, 33, of no certain address, was charged with disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace.
Richard Paulino, 49, of no certain address, was charged with trespassing.
