Cops investigating early morning break into automotive supply shop…
HYANNIS – Police were investigating an alarm when they discovered a smashed store window early this morning.
At about 1:20AM, Barnstable Police responded to Autopart International at 191 Falmouth Road for a B&E which had just occurred.
A K-9 unit set off tracking in the direction of Hiramar Road. Other officers responded to the area to assist.
An identification officer from the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Department gathered evidence and took photos.
Police carefully examined fresh bike tracks and foot prints in the snow…

VIDEO: Barnstable Patromen investigated a report of illicit drug activity in the KFC parking lot last evening. Two individuals were detained and their vehicle searched. A source tells HN the subjects had just shot up and there was not any more illicit drugs left inside of the vehicle. The following video highlights the scene.

PHOTO: A man was transported to CCH after he claimed he was beaten by three men early Monday morning in his home on Nautical Way in Hyannis. The man had injuries to his left eye and face. The suspects were known to the victim and police investigated the scene as a violent domestic. Arrests were reportedly made for a warrant and assault and battery. No further details were available at the time of this report.

VIDEO: Yarmouth Police stopped an erratic driver who was reportedly tailgating another vehicle on Route 28 earlier in the week. At one point she allegedly crossed the median on Route 28… The following video highlights some of the field sobriety testing. It also shows an officer administering a breathalyzer, which the woman had trouble completing at first. The unidentified female was arrested for Operating Under the Influence and transported to Yarmouth Police Headquarters for booking and processing.

PHOTO: Multiple police officers responded to CCH early this morning to assist security with a suicidal walk-in patient who was suspected to be in possession of a razor. Police from Yarmouth and Barnstable had been trying to locate the individual prior to him showing up at CCH. Police and security were able to keep the situation under control.
