Cops Uncover Narcotics in Hyannis Traffic Stop [Photo Notes]

ABOVE: Barnstable Police officers discovered a substantial amount of a Class B narcotic during a traffic stop near the intersection of South Street and Lewis Bay Road in Hyannis Sunday evening around 9:30 p.m. Two female passengers are seated on a curb in one of the photos, with one hiding her face from the camera. The women were not arrested and were allowed to leave after being cleared by a drug-detecting K9 unit. Antonio DeBarrows, 40, of Hyannis, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance. A K9 unit was called to the scene to assist in searching the vehicle for additional narcotics. The investigation remains active and ongoing. A booking photo of DeBarrows was not available at the time of this report.
