Hyannis – Barnstable police put out a B.O.L.O. (be on the lookout) with probable cause for the arrest of a local man wanted for a domestic assault and battery this afternoon.

At approximately 4pm multiple marked and unmarked squad cars rushed to a residence on Scudder Ave. for what was initially described as an outside fight in progress.

Police just missed the assailant, who reportedly fled the scene in a green Mitsubishi Gallant.

Neighboring law enforcement agencies were also notified.

As of right now, police chatter indicates the male may be wanted for Domestic Assault and Battery, as well as Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon.
