DEADLY FENTANYL: Couple charged with trafficking after detectives swarm in to prevent more local deaths…
The following is the actual YPD media statement:
On Monday, January 28, 2019 at approximately 12:00PM, led by Yarmouth Police Drug Enforcement Unit Detective Scott Lundegren, members of the Yarmouth Police Department Detective Division and Proactive Anti-Crime Unit executed a search warrant at the residence located at 2 Ivanhoe Avenue, West Yarmouth, Massachusetts.
A search was conducted of the couple’s upstairs bedroom and surrounding areas aided by the use of Yarmouth Police Department Narcotics K9 Gauge.
Recovered during this search was a glass jar containing a variety of narcotics including Cocaine, Fentanyl, and other illegal drugs.
Also recovered from the location were packaging materials, digital scales, and a quantity of US Currency.
Using a TruNarc Raman Spectrometer, a field test was conducted on samples of the items seized during the search. The test was positive for the presumptive presence of both Fentanyl and Cocaine
The following items were seized during the execution of the search warrant:
• Fentanyl 21.6 grams
• Cocaine 7.6 grams
• Plastic Sandwich Baggies and other packaging materials
• Digital Scales (2)
• Lyrica Tablets
• Percocet Tablets
• Dexamphetamine Tablet
• Cash / US Currency $446.00
• Cell Phone
Selan was summoned to court on the charges and was allowed to remain at the residence to care for a disabled adult and will notify state officials.
Coulstring was held overnight at Yarmouth Police Department on $5,000 Cash Bail and was transported to the Barnstable District Court This morning for arraignment.
