Dennis man arrested for 2nd offense drunk driving… at 2:38 in the afternoon…
The following is the actual YPD media statement:
On Tuesday, December 18 2018 at 2:38 PM, Yarmouth Police Department Patrol Officers Alexander Xiarhos, David Dickey, and Lieutenant Kevin Lennon were involved with the motor vehicle stop of a blue Jeep Grand Cherokee, with Maine Registration 2782UX for operating erratically on Route 28 in West Yarmouth.
The driver smelled of alcoholic beverages, admitted to drinking, had a hard time maintaining his balance, and failed all of the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. He was found to be intoxicated and placed under arrest for his second offense of operating under the influence of alcohol.
He is scheduled for arraignment today in the Barnstable District Court.
