Elderly woman displaced after fire tears through her West Dennis home… [HN VIDEO]
WEST DENNIS – An elderly woman was home alone when fire broke out on the back side of her home located at 8 Clarlaw Way this evening.
At about 5:30 p.m., Dennis firefighters found the rear side of the residence engulfed with flames and as you will see in some early cell phone video courtesy of the Dennis PD, firefighters had to content with small explosions…
As you will see in the following HN Video, the home was heavily damaged and uninhabitable. The elderly woman who was home alone managed to get out with injury, and was checked out by rescue just to make sure she was okay. HN has been told she does has somewhere else to stay for the evening.
HN also learned that no firefighters were hurt while battling the blaze.
