DENNIS – According to radio traffic, an outdoor grill fire extended to an outside deck, and then onto the side of the house, before ultimately extending into the interior of the home last evening…

Shortly before 10:00 p.m., Dennis Firefighters responded to 3 Paul Street for a structure fire. The first firefighters on scene reported that house was approximately 25% involved.

Crews used hand lines to knock down the brunt of the fire. They then concentrated on putting out the fire that had extended into the home.

The home was heavily damaged (see HN photos). And there were no radio reports of injuries. No further details were available at the time of this report…
