CENTERVILLE – [DEVELOPING] – If you listen carefully to the end of the following HN Video, upon viewing store surveillance footage, you’ll hear police are on the hunt for a young male in his twenties…
This morning at about 3:00 am, Barnstable Patrol units responded to an alarm at the Rt. 28 Convenience store located at 1675 Route 28.
The first officer on scene discovered the break, a smashed glass doorway entrance to the store.
A Massachusetts State Police K-9 unit – all the way from Lowell – happened to have been in the Cape Cod area finishing up a drug case and was able to quickly respond to the scene, where they hit the ground tracking…
… jumping fences and clearing a nearby cemetery.
Police have surveillance images of the suspect who is still at large, and the investigation is very active and ongoing…
