Both drivers transported after two vehicle rollover crash with entrapment… [HN VIDEO]
EAST SANDWICH – Both drivers needed to be transported to Cape Cod Hospital after a two vehicle rollover crash this morning at about 3:10 a.m. on Route 6A in the area of Beach Plum Circle.
The first police and firefighters on scene found a man entrapped inside a rolled over pickup truck. He was extricated after firefighters cut through the windshield. He was then secured onto a stretcher and transported with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
The second vehicle was found with moderate to heavy front end damage… and appeared to be smoking as firefighters disconnected its battery. The driver of the vehicle was able to walk up into an ambulance before being transported.
The Sandwich Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash.
