EXPLOSIVE CAPER: Two Porta-Potties Blown Up at Dennis Beaches Overnight

DENNIS, MASSACHUSETTS — Two portable toilets were blown up overnight at separate Cape Cod beach parking lots.
Sometime Tuesday evening, the porta-potties at Corporation Beach and Howes Street Beach were destroyed in what police believe was a deliberate blast using high-powered fireworks. Around midnight, Dennis Police patrol officers responding to the scenes found the restrooms heavily damaged by the explosions.
A member of the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Crime Scene Unit photographed evidence at both locations, and a Dennis Police detective was notified. The company that owns the units, United Site Services, has also been informed of the vandalism.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
