HN VIDEO: Female arrested after ramming parked Dennis police cruiser… [DEVELOPING]
SOUTH DENNIS – [DEVELOPING] – A female driver was arrested after her vehicle rammed into a parked Dennis Police cruiser earlier this evening…
At about 8:42PM, a Dennis Patrolman was dispatched to check on a residential alarm at 484 Main St, according to radio transmissions…
According to sources, his cruiser was unoccupied and parked on Main St. with its “lights flashing” when a white convertible suddenly slammed into it.
There was reportedly airbag deployment and the female driver (described as “middle aged”) was evaluated by Dennis Rescue… but was not transported to hospital…
… instead, she left the scene handcuffed in the backseat of a police cruiser, sources tell HN.
The Dennis cruiser was able to drive away from the scene, but the woman’s vehicle didn’t fare as well [as you will see in the following HN Video], with significant front end damage and needing to be towed from the scene.
