VIDEO: Firefighters rescue entrapped woman from rollover… CCH placed on trauma alert…
HYANNIS – At least two patients were transported to CCH this afternoon when firefighters needed to use the jaws of life to free an injured woman from a rollover two car accident.
At about 2:30PM, Barnstable Police and Hyannis Rescue responded to the intersection of South Street and High School Road for a nasty collision which left one vehicle on its side, with a woman trapped inside…
CCH was placed on a trauma alert as firefighters worked diligently to free woman, said to be approximately 45-years-old. She was conscious and able to communicate with first responders.
Two passengers from the other vehicle were also hurt and at least one elderly female was transported to CCH.
The accident is being investigated by the BPD.
