Five-car collision jams up 132… plus other news briefs…
HYANNIS – A driver lost control and rammed into four other cars at about 6:30pm last night.
Police and rescue responded to the Route 132 westbound lane before the traffic lights at Independence Drive for a crash which slowed and backed up traffic to the airport rotary.
Rescue responded to check on at least one driver, but there were no injuries reported.
Those involved in the crash took out their cell phones to document the scene.

The accident is under investigation by Barnstable Police.
UPDATE: A Mashpee man was cited for Operating to Endanger and Failure to Stay within Marked Lanes…
In other news:

HYANNIS – At about 7:00pm last night, police responded to the parking lot of the Cape Cod 5 Cents Savings Bank for a fight between two women.
A woman was taken into custody on assault charges related to a Dangerous Weapon…
No further information available on the incident at this time…
UPDATE: According to sources, the dangerous weapon was a pen and the fight was between two acquaintances over money…
In other news:
HYANNIS – At about 1:00am, officers returned to an address on Pleasant Street looking for a man who allegedly assaulted a woman and damaged personal property about an hour earlier.
When patrolmen returned to the address, they learned that the man had fled once again and this time he may have taken along a bow and arrow…
Officers are still in the area searching…
No further information available at this time… Hyannis News will provide updates as they become available.
5:00am UPDATE: The assault was the result of domestic altercation and the male left the area on foot and still has not been located…
