The following is a Barnstable Police Press statement:
On December 15, 2014 at approximately 1346 hours Barnstable Patrol officers responded to 35 Fresh Holes Rd, Hyannis for a reported home invasion. Upon arrival officers spoke with the victim who stated that two black males armed with firearms forced their way into his home, held a firearm to the back of his head and robbed him of approximately $600.00 cash.
Barnstable County Identification (BCI) Officer Wallace responded to Fresh Holes Rd to photograph and process the scene. BCI Officer Wallace was able to obtain forensic evidence from the scene which led to the Identification of Anthony J Dixon 02/10/1987 of Randolph Ma.
Barnstable Police Detective Meaghan Cunningham obtained information that Anthony J Dixon was scheduled for a court appearance today (1/14/2015) at the Roxbury District Court on unrelated matters.
Barnstable Detectives along with the assistance of Boston Detectives set up surveillance in the area of the Roxbury court house. Approximately 0915 hours, Anthony Dixon was spotted walking in the area. Dixon was arrested and charged with Home Invasion, Armed Career Criminal and Armed Robbery. Dixon was transported back to Barnstable Police Department where he was booked, and later transported to Barnstable District Court where he was held without bail pending a dangerous hearing scheduled on Friday 01/16/2015 at the Barnstable District Court.
