GHOST GUN, HIGH CAP. MAGS., NEARLY $52K FOUND IN DRUG TRAFFICKER’S SAFE, COPS SAY…
[FPD MEDIA STATEMENT] Falmouth Police Officers, working with the Massachusetts State Police and the DEA Cape Cod Drug Enforcement Taskforce, arrested Kane Washington (31, Falmouth) yesterday after a four month long investigation. Mr. Washington was stopped in his car and found to be in possession of large quantities of fentanyl & crack cocaine at the time of the arrest. A subsequent search warrant at his residence revealed more fentanyl and crack cocaine. In total, investigators recovered 90 grams of fentanyl and nearly 11 grams of crack cocaine. Mr. Washington has been charged with trafficking in fentanyl, possession to distribute crack cocaine, and other related charges.

Upon executing a search warrant on a safe owned by Kane Washington subsequent to his arrest, investigators recovered a “ghost gun” (manufactured illegally with no serial number), 5 high capacity magazines, approximately 150 rounds of ammunition, and nearly $52,000 in cash.
Mr. Washington was arrested yesterday after a 4 month long investigation, and is being charged with trafficking in fentanyl, possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute, charges related to the items found in his safe, and other related charges.
This investigation was the product of collaboration between the Falmouth Police Department, the Massachusetts State Police, and the Cape Cod Drug Enforcement Agency office.
