*** BREAKING *** “HE IS RISEN! EMPTY TOMB STUNS JERUSALEM:” Billions of Easter Celebrants Rejoice Nearly 2000 Years Later
Easter 2025 A.D.
“Anno Domini,” is the full form of the abbreviation “A.D.,” which is Medieval Latin for “in the year of our Lord.” The modern Western Christian Calendar begins measuring years “A.D.” at the traditionally reckoned time of the conception or birth of Jesus. Jesus is believed to have been crucified when he was around 30 to 33 years old, which, according to the Western Christian Calendar, brings us to our current year as being “2025 A.D.,” approximately 1992 to 1995 years from when Jesus is believed to have been crucified. (NOTE: A.D. stands for “Anno Domini,” not “After Death.”)
The Resurrection of Jesus Christ is a central event in Christianity, believed to have occurred on the third day after his crucifixion around 30-33 AD. According to the New Testament, Jesus was crucified, died, and was buried in a tomb. On the third day, his tomb was found empty, and he appeared to his disciples, having risen from the dead. This event is celebrated as Easter and is seen by Christians as proof of Jesus’ divinity, victory over death, and the promise of eternal life for believers. It signifies the fulfillment of Old Testament prophecies and the foundation of Christian hope and salvation.
As of 2025, the global Christian population is estimated to be around 2.66 billion people.
HAPPY EASTER!
