HN SHOCK AUDIO: Harwich police pursuit ends in Dennis… female driver given verbal warning… listen and learn why!
HARWICH – As you will hear in the following HN Shock Audio, a Harwich patrolman was trying to stop a vehicle for “equipment and marked lane” violations observed in his town.
Prior to the following second half of the audio, the patrolman radioed that the vehicle did eventually briefly come to a stop before failing to remain stopped and continuing on in the direction of Great Western Road in Dennis.
After several minutes, with moderate pursuit speeds reaching approximately 41 MPH, and with Harwich and Dennis Police cruisers scrambling to assist, the vehicle finally came to a complete stop well into the Town of Dennis on Great Western Road.
HN was traveling in the direction of the traffic stop when the patrolman told dispatch he would be letting the driver go free with a verbal warning. Nobody was hurt and the patrolman had used his discretion to give the female driver a break – albeit, the break was for a very unusual reason…
Listen to the following HN audio and learn why the driver got just a verbal warning for motor vehicle violations and failing to stop for police.
HN NOTE: The audio only highlights the second half of the pursuit and is condensed in terms of time lapse…
