A young mother bounces her baby girl while briskly passing by, both laughing, all the way down the sidewalk. Call me old fashioned, but to me, there is nothing more beautiful and satisfying to see than a mother and her child safely enjoying life together. And it’s even better when it happens on the streets of my hometown. In this split second, I leveled my camera and took this snapshot, with barely a fraction of a second to focus… and said to myself in Italian,“Madone!”… which loosely translated here, means to me, “beautiful, I’ve just seen two angels!”
Hopefully before I die, I’ll live to see Hyannis return to being the absolute best place in the country for young families to live and visit! I’m not exaggerating when I say, “return to being the absolute best.”
I know it’s possible…
