HYANNIS – As you will see and hear in the following HN Video, yesterday afternoon, officers in the area of the Hyannis/West Yarmouth town line rushed to an active foot chase after an officer stopped a motorcycle in the Speedway parking lot at Route 28 and Yarmouth Road.

The driver, and possibly a passenger, fled the area on foot. Officers did their best to set up a perimeter and get a K-9 on the ground in time to capture the fleeing motorist.

Officers were unable locate the suspect(s) as of the time of this report… but according to radio transmissions, it’s likely they will make an arrest in the very near future.

HN will provide updates when they become available.
