HN VIDEO: Tires slashed, bricks through car window… dark figure...

MARSTONS MILLS – A lot of nasty things happen during the overnights across the Mid-Cape… and the following HN Video highlights the greasy actions of someone hellbent on malicious destruction.

As you will see and hear, Barnstable Officers rushed to an address on Old Falmouth Road when the people inside the home saw a dark figure run away after what they believed may have been a gunshot – it wasn’t a gunshot, but rather a couple of bricks fired through the window of a truck park in their driveway.

Upon arrival, officers also noticed other types of malicious destruction of the family’s property, like slashed car tires, etc…

Police immediately developed a lead suspect who also had been recently issued a restraining order related to the daughter living at the residence…

Barnstable officers quickly reached out to other departments and learned Mashpee had stopped the lead suspect earlier in the evening. As you will hear, it didn’t take Mashpee officers long to stop and hold the suspect’s vehicle a second time in their town last evening, as Barnstable officers responded to have a word with the young man…

The Barnstable Police are investigating and HN will provide updates as they become available.
