HYANNIS ARMED ROBBERY: Firearm shown… possible “drug rip”… two in custody but later bailed out… prime suspect still at large… [HN AUDIO] [UPDATED]
UPDATE: The following is the actual BPD press release…
Armed Robbery at Cape Crossroads, Hyannis
On April 22, 2018 at 6:00pm, Barnstable Police responded to Cape Crossroads
Condominium Complex, 800 Bearse’s Way Hyannis, for a report of an armed robbery
involving a firearm.
Arriving officers met with a 20-year-old male victim from South Yarmouth, who alleged
he had been robbed at gun point by an acquaintance. Investigation revealed the victim
had been driven to the complex by three acquaintances and a male he did not know. The
five individuals intended to purchase narcotics from someone not known to the victim.
The acquaintances were identified as 25-year-old Zachary Enos of Truro, 21-year-old
Noah Enos of Brewster, 19-year-old Taylor Holm of Harwich, and an unidentified male.
At some point during the transaction, its alleged Zachary Enos removed a handgun from
his waistband and pointed it at the victim while demanding money and the victims’
cellphone. It’s further alleged that Zachary Enos threw the victims phone to the
pavement in order to render it inoperable, and took the victims cash, in the amount of
$320, from his pocket. The four acquaintances then fled in the vehicle in which they had
arrived, leaving the victim alone in the parking lot.
A few hours later, after a BOLO had been issued for the vehicle and occupants, in
addition to temporary warrants for related offenses, Massachusetts State Police troopers
located the vehicle at the Rte. 134 Cumberland Farms in Dennis. At that time, the
vehicle was occupied by Noah Enos and Taylor Holm who were taken into custody and
transported to the Barnstable Police Station where they were booked for the offense of
Accessories After the Fact.
As of this posting, the unidentified male is still unknown to police, and Zachary Enos
remains at-large and may be armed. There is a warrant for the arrest of Zachary Enos for
Armed Robbery, Injury to Property, and Intimidation of a witness. Any information
regarding his whereabouts should be reported to the Barnstable Police Department at
508-775-0387.
