CAPE COD, MASSACHUSETTS – There has been a total of 32 Cape Cod deaths attributed to COVID-19 reported as of today (up from 27 recorded on 4/22)… of 196 newly reported deaths statewide… and there are currently 2,556 statewide deaths officially attributed to COVID-19 (up from 2,182 recorded on 4/22). There are currently 1,048 cases in Massachusetts Intensive Care Units (ICUs).
The Cape’s confirmed case count is 747 as of today (up from 678 recorded on 4/22)… and there are 4,946 newly confirmed cases statewide (up from 1,745 recorded on 4/22). The state now has 50,969 confirmed cases (up from 42,944 recorded on 4/22).
Cape Cod Hospital has 14 hospitalized COVID-19 patients as of today (down from 16 on 4/22), with 4 patients reportedly in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) (down from 5 on 4/22).
Falmouth Hospital has 7 hospitalized COVID-19 patients (down from 19 on 4/22), with 2 patients in the ICU (down from 6 on 4/22).
