Barnstable police investigating early morning “rollover” that sent driver to CCH… [HN VIDEO]
HYANNIS – Shortly after 4:00 a.m., an alert Barnstable Patrolman came across a single car “rollover” into the woods on West Main Street at the intersection with Lincoln Road.
A male driver was the sole occupant. He suffered a nasty cut during the crash and the first patrolman on scene immediately began rendering first aid.
Friends and acquaintances of the driver also arrived on scene out of an abundance of concern for the driver.
A member of the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Crime Scene Investigation Unit arrived to take photos.
As you will see in the following HN Video, the male driver was transported to CCH. Police also responded to CCH to continue the investigation in the emergency room. As you will hear, the investigating patrolman later requested a motor vehicle accident number, along with an “AR” or arrest number for a criminal application related to the crash.
