HYANNIS – Sources tell HN that restaurant staff at Spanky’s Clam Shack pulled a Hyannis man from the water after hearing cries for help this evening.
As you will see and hear in the following HN VIDEO, at about 7:00 p.m., first responders arrived at the Ocean Street Docks and located the patient inside the Kitchen at Spanky’s Clam Shack.
The male was conscious and alert, but repeatedly stating he was very cold…
Hyannis Firefighters secured the man on a stretcher and covered him with blankets as they hoisted him into an awaiting ambulance, reassuring him that they would help him get warmed up.
The man was transported to Cape Cod Hospital for further treatment.
It remains uncertain as to what actually caused the man to fall into the harbor.
