HN VIDEO: Vehicle full of people “almost into a house…”

HYANNIS – [HN NOTES] – Police received a call about a vehicle full of people that almost just drove into a house late last evening. Thankfully a brand new crosswalk sign, freshly placed curbing, a rail fence, shrubbery and a beach ball sized boulder took the wind out of the vehicle’s sails…

… bringing it to a stop just footsteps from the outside wall of the Sea Beach Inn at 388 Sea Street, a nicely kept old sea captain’s house that dates back to 1860, just a stone’s throw away from Sea Street Beach – HN asked and learned the car full of people that just had barged into its front yard were not actual guests, nor were they out looking for seaside accommodations.

Thankfully nobody was hurt.
