*** WATCH *** Two arrested when drugs found during early morning traffic stop…
HYANNIS – A woman and a man were arrested this morning after a Barnstable Patrolman discovered drugs during a traffic stop.
As you will see in the following HN Video, the apparent drugs were photographed inside of the vehicle where they were allegedly discovered by police. The drugs were then collected and bagged as evidence.
The female driver and her male passenger were both arrested and charged with Possession of a class B substance. In Massachusetts a “Class B” substance could be any of an array of drugs, including cocaine, crack, LSD, oxycodone, oxycontin, ecstacy, hydrochloride, amphetamine and methamphetamine. The mere possession of any of the aforementioned drugs can lead to arrest and potential penalties, such as jail time and fines.
Traffic stops that lead to drug arrests, like the one highlighted in the following HN Video, are a fairly common occurrence here in the Mid-Cape area.
