HYANNIS – EMTs were focused on a child with a possible shoulder injury as HN arrived on scene. There had been at least two children involved in the multi-vehicle crash. Both were evaluated and had no serious injuries. Out of all the people involved in the crash, none were reportedly transported to hospital.
The crash happened shortly after 8:30 p.m., at the busy intersection of Route 28 and Yarmouth Road.
There were at least 4 vehicles involved. A Jeep somehow flew over some bushes and crashed into a parked car in front of DJ’s Wings. Two other vehicles were scattered across the intersection…
A traffic light was completely knocked down and shattered into separate pieces during the accident. At least two vehicles needed to be towed from the roadway and nearby shrubbery.
The Barnstable Police Department Patrol Division is investigating the cause of the crash.
