Cape Cod Hospital placed on trauma alert after pedestrian struck by SUV in Hyannis…
HYANNIS – A male, approximately age 30, suffered multiple injuries after being struck by a vehicle earlier this evening.
As you will hear in the following HN Video, Barnstable Police and Hyannis Firefighters rushed to the intersection of Bearses Way and Falmouth Road where they found the patient down in the roadway. The driver of the vehicle which he was struck by remained on scene.
The patient was taken to Cape Cod Hospital under a trauma alert.
The Barnstable County Sheriff’s Crime Scene Unit took photos of the scene. The Barnstable Police Department is investigating the cause of the accident.
There was no further information regarding the patient’s condition at the time of this report.
