HYANNIS – A three car crash at the intersection of Route 28 and Ridgewood Ave sent at least two individuals to Cape Cod Hospital today around 3:00 p.m.. Traffic was slowed in the area as first responders worked the scene. The Hyannis FD Rescue transported one patient. Barnstable FD Rescue transported the second. Both patients were banged up but their injuries were not expected to be life-threatening at the time of this report.

The Barnstable Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash. The roadways were cleaned up and completely re-opened around 3:53 p.m…
