HN PHOTOS: Burger bun delivery delayed due to electrical fire at Mickey D’s…


HYANNIS – [HN PHOTOS] – Hyannis Firefighters and police responded to the McDonalds on Route 132 (around 7pm) after smoke was observed coming from the burger joint’s electrical panel. The restaurant was evacuated and a large hamburger bun delivery from Enfield Connecticut had to be delayed as firefighters shut down power to the building. The Town of Barnstable’s electrical inspector was called to the scene and the restaurant manager was advised to call an electrician once the panel was isolated and made safe. Police officers stood by and were ready to close down a lane on Route 132, if need be. There were no reported injuries. And none of the buns were damaged…
