VIOLENT EARLY MORNING DOMESTIC: Both female & male transported with superficial stab wounds and cuts… [HN VIDEO]

HYANNIS – Barnstable Police and two Hyannis FD ambulances responded to West Main Street around 2:00 a.m. this morning after a woman called stating she had been “attacked” by a man she knew and that she had been trying to get away, according to radio transmissions. First responders met the woman outside in the snow in front of Hyannis Honda. The woman in her late 20s was suffering superficial stab wounds to her hand and leg, according to additional radio transmissions. She was placed in the first ambulance on scene and eventually transported to Cape Cod Hospital. Her bleeding was described as being under control and vital signs were described as “stable…”
Police then located the male half of the incident inside a nearby apartment. He was taken into custody and it was later explained to him that he was being detained as officers continued to investigate. He also had cuts and was placed in a second ambulance, eventually to also be transported Cape Cod Hospital.
The male in handcuffs was obviously upset and expressed his point of view that the police always believe the female’s version of events… and it was then a female police officer told the man that wasn’t true.
A member of the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Crime Scene Investigation Unit responded to photograph the scene, along with the injuries to both parties.
