Hyannis woman arrested for OUI after alleged wake of destruction… [VIDEO]
HYANNIS – A woman was arrested for drunk driving after allegedly leaving behind a trail of destruction which sent another motorist to CCH for evaluation…
Yesterday evening, 11/28/2016, at about 5:45PM, Barnstable Police responded to a single vehicle crash on Stevens Street.
Officers found a Dodge SUV with front end damage and flat tires. The vehicle had apparently finally come to a stop after crashing into a utility pole support cable.
According to police, the support cable was not the only thing the SUV had struck. Officers discovered a fresh two-block trail of destruction which included a demolished crosswalk sign, a rear end traffic accident, and evidence of leaving the roadway and driving up onto a curb.
The female driver of the rear-ended pickup truck needed to be transported to CCH for evaluation of what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.
Lori Dixon, age 55, of Hyannis, was arrested for Operating Under the Influence of alcohol and Operating to Endanger…
