ICE Arrests Dangerous Jamaican Criminal Illegal Alien in Hyannis with History of Rape and Murder Threat Charges
HYANNIS, MASSACHUSETTS — ICE Boston officers arrested Altiman Peterkin, a criminal illegal alien from Jamaica, during targeted enforcement operations in Hyannis, according to a July 15, 2026, ICE media statement.
Peterkin has a prior conviction for assault and battery on a family or household member. He has been arraigned on three counts of rape, assault and battery on a family or household member, threats to commit a crime, and threatening to commit murder.
The arrest was carried out by Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Boston. According to ICE, these operations are designed to remove criminal illegal aliens who pose a serious threat to public safety.
“Thanks to ERO Boston, another dangerous criminal alien is off the streets of our communities,” the agency stated.
The enforcement action in Hyannis directly targets individuals with violent criminal histories, including domestic assault and sexual offense charges. By taking Peterkin into custody, ICE has removed a repeat offender from the local area, reducing the risk of further harm to residents.
According to the statement, ERO Boston said it will continue to prioritize the identification and removal of criminal illegal aliens in order to protect American communities.
