INCREDIBLE FOOTAGE & IT’S A GIRL!!! ~ Medics deliver baby inside COMM ambulance… first time in 16 years, sources say!
CENTERVILLE – Clara wasn’t going to wait. She decided she was going to be born… and born right now!
Thiago Manganelli was playing piano at the Saint Pius X Catholic Church in South Yarmouth when he received a text that Clara was on her way and he better hurry home.
By the time Thiago arrived home, his wife Eugenia asked him to call 911.
In about 5 minutes, COMM Fire and Rescue were outside their Centerville home on Old Stage Road.
The delivery began inside their home before a COMM FD Lieutenant decided it was best to move the delivery to inside an awaiting ambulance.
It was in the back of the ambulance, at about 11:47AM, yesterday morning, that baby Clara was born on Old Stage Road.
According to the father, paramedics told him that this was the first time a baby had been born inside one of their ambulances in 16 years.
Thiago and Eugenia Manganelli, the proud parents of baby Clara, were overcome with the performance of the paramedics they are calling heroes today.
COMM Firefighters David Gelinas, Louis Sassone, Ryan Scott, and Jason Travis delivered a healthy baby yesterday.
The baby’s mom, Eugenia, told HN that both her and the baby are in good health.
According to the Mom and Dad, Clara Manganelli, weighed in as a healthy baby girl. Clara is their third child.
Again, parents Thiago and Eugenia Manganelli wanted to emphasize their appreciation for the amazing efforts of the COMM Fire Department yesterday.
HN received the following incredible footage and amazing photos from Clara’s parents, and was given special permission to share those images here.
