YARMOUTH – YPD squad cars rushed to a residence Thursday evening – 4/6/2023 – in an effort to stop the violence and prevent additional bloodshed. As you will hear in the following HN Video, responding officers were told to “step it up,” and that someone was on the floor bleeding. Units arrived quickly and detained a 45-year-old male. Yarmouth rescue arrived and reportedly transported at least one person to Cape Cod Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The 45-year-old male was placed under arrest and transported to YPD Headquarters for booking. An individual on scene requested and was granted an emergency restraining order, according to radio transmissions.
