MAIN STREET AREA VIOLENCE: At least two needed rescue right after bars closed… 26-year-old man discovered in roadway… [HN VIDEO]
HYANNIS – Police and rescue were busy last evening as downtown bars were closing…
As you will see in the following HN Video, a 26-year-old man was discovered badly hurt and down in the middle of Pine Ave. The man could not remember how he wound up incapacitate on the pavement with head trauma, including several lacerations… The young disoriented man needed to be lifted up onto a stretcher before being transported to CCH. (Sources believe man could have been the victim of some type of assault… but it’s hard to tell at this point…) Barnstable Police are investigating…
Also in the following HV Video, you will see the scene outside of the 19th Hole on Barnstable Road. Police responded to what was described as a disturbance… but things had calmed down soon after their arrival. Hyannis Rescue responded and a young man was escorted up into an ambulance for facial cuts and bruises. (Sources say the man was injured during a bar fight.)
