HYANNIS – This was the view of the gridlock traffic, looking from the East End toward the West End yesterday afternoon at around 3:00 p.m.. This area has always seen its share of congestion, but yesterday’s traffic was some of the worst I’ve ever seen, causing gridlock conditions at Camp and Main Streets, and in the area of the Cape Cod Hospital… with traffic backed up all the way into the town of Yarmouth. Some say it’s because of the “Covid Blocks” taking up a lane of traffic on Main Street.
