MASHPEE – Multiple Mashpee Police units responded to New Seabury, in the area of Nashweena Road, after a resident reportedly discovered a male “riffling” through cars at around 3:30 a.m., this morning. The resident reportedly chased the male toward Deans Pond but wasn’t able to catch him.
Police saturated the area and conducted a K9 track but were unable to capture the suspect.
The suspect was a described as a white male, wearing a baseball cap, sweatshirt, all dark clothing… he was said to be wearing a “significant” backpack that looked like it was “pretty full…”
The Mashpee PD is investigating…
