VIDEO: Mom arrived to find son’s car crashed into tree… heavily...

WEST BARNSTABLE – Imagine showing up at an accident scene to find your son’s car completely demolished, with him in the back of a nearby ambulance…

… that would have to rank as one of the worst nightmares any parent could have.

As you will see in the following footage, a young man was hurt and taken to CCH after running over a street sign and slamming into a couple of trees early this morning. Luckily, he was able to self-extricate and was leaning against his car and holding his head when HN arrived. Judging from the heavy damage, his condition could have been much worse…

The accident occurred at about 12:30AM on Old Stage Road at the intersection with the Service Road…

The young man’s mom arrived at the scene and the video captures part of that reaction…

The accident is still being investigated, but according to police sources, the young driver will be summonsed into court on OUI charges. He was evaluated at CCH and his injuries were not considered life-threatening.
