Mother’s Day miracle…
West Barnstable – The call came in at 4:45pm as a collision between a motorcycle and motor vehicle, the two on the bike reportedly ‘out on the ground’ at the intersection of Route 6A and Route 132…
Emergency first responders sprung into action, arriving on scene amazingly quick.
Motorcycle accidents normally don’t work out too well for the passengers.
The impact in this one tore the front bumper off a black Toyota Camry; the ‘Ninja’ style motorcycle came to rest on its side about 40 feet away; the plastic Camry bumper lying halfway between the two…
It originally didn’t look good for the motorcycle passengers that hit the pavement…
… but miracles happen everyday and this was one of them.
Much to the relief of police, rescue workers, accident scene photographers, and onlookers, both passengers were treated and released at the scene, both reportedly walking away from the rescue ambulance… relatively safe and sound considering things could have been much worse.
