UPDATE — 11:00AM 9/20/15 — According to Hyannis FD, the 48-year-old male suffered serious life-threatening internal and external injuries. He was eventually flown to a Boston area hospital. The man was walking home from a convenience store when he somehow stumbled into the roadway. The 24-year-old female driver was traveling south on Yarmouth Road. She stopped immediately after the impact and remained at the scene. Barnstable Police are investigating. No charges have been filed…

The first officer on scene immediately radioed that the victim had multiple traumatic injuries. He then called for a supervisor and photos…
The male victim was worked on in an ambulance while his girlfriend sat on the roadside, stunned by what she had just witnessed.
The man was transported to CCH with serious life-threatening trauma. He reportedly had vital signs while inside the ambulance, but police closed the road and did a thorough investigation in case his condition worsens.
