ANTI-CRIME UNIT ARRESTS MAN WANTED FOR HEROIN DISTRIBUTION
On Monday, February 19, 2018 at 2PM, Yarmouth Police Department Proactive Anti-Crime Unit Officer Nicholas Ambrosini observed a red Dodge Charger with NY plates travelling on Route 28. PACU Officer Ambrosini observed the front seat passenger to be Allen Gibbs, a man known to be wanted for illegal drug charges based on a past case in the Barnstable District Court.
A traffic stop of the vehicle on Old Main Street at South Street was conducted and Gibbs was placed under arrest and transported to Yarmouth Police Department Headquarters.
Gibbs was held in custody and transported to the Barnstable District Court today.
