Pedestrian killed on Route 132… [Video]
UPDATE & Actual BPD press release:
On 12/23/13 at approximately 2052 hrs the Barnstable Police Department responded a motor vehicle versus pedestrian accident in the area of 654 Iyannough Road (Rte 132). Initial responding officers found a severely injured female lying in the east bound lane. The responding officers administered emergency medical assistance and CPR to the victim. The victim was transported to Cape Cod Hospital by Hyannis Fire/Rescue where she was later pronounced dead. The victim was identified as Zhou Caron a 50 year old female from Hyannis. The victim was struck by a 1994 Chevrolet 1500 pickup truck which was traveling east on Rte 132. The vehicle in question was being operated by a John Daley of Eastham.
The accident is still under investigation and is being investigated in conjunction with the Barnstable Police Departments accident reconstruction team.
