YARMOUTH – Police and firefighters were busy this afternoon trying to locate a man who reportedly ingested a large amount of heroin during a state police traffic stop.

Police were notified by a relative that the man was on foot because his vehicle was impounded during the traffic stop. He apparently had swallowed a quantity of heroin unbeknownst to the trooper…

His relative was trying to keep him alive and helped officials eventually track down the individual to a CVS store on Station Ave.
