RECENT HN PHOTOS: TWO AMBULANCES RESPOND TO CRASH IN HYANNIS NEIGHBORHOOD
HYANNIS, MASSACHUSETTS – [HN PHOTO NOTES] – Police and firefighters responded to a crash in the middle of a Bearses Way neighborhood late this afternoon. The crash happened at the intersection with General Patton Drive. Four vehicles were involved, according to radio transmissions. Two vehicles needed to be towed from the scene. Two Hyannis FD ambulances responded to evaluate several patients. Injuries were not considered “serious.” The Barnstable Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash.
Police and Firefighters rushed to a report of a dog bite at a Hyannis residence this afternoon. A young child was reportedly bitten and injured. Police and firefighters arrived at the address to learn that the child had already been taken directly to Cape Cod Hospital. Barnstable Police responded to CCH to investigate. A member of the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Crime Scene Unit also responded to CCH to take photos.
