ROLLOVER: 68-year-old Barnstable woman arrested after Subaru lands on its roof… [HN VIDEO]
BARNSTABLE – As you will see in the following HN Video, a 68-year-old Barnstable woman was arrested for drunk driving after her Subaru landed on its roof…
Shortly after 8:30 pm last evening, police and firefighters rushed to Mary Dunn Road just north of the Route 6 overpass for reports of a rollover where the female driver (and sole occupant) managed to crawl out from under the wreckage.
The woman was evaluated in a Barnstable FD ambulance and did not need to be transported to CCH.
As you will see in the HN Footage, the driver had a difficult time with several field sobriety tests conducted by one of the Barnstable Police Patrolmen on scene.
Patricia Traversi, age 68, of Barnstable was arrested and charged with Operating Under the Influence and Operating to Endanger, according to police sources.
A member of the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Crime Scene Unit took photographs of the scene.
The Subaru SUV had left the roadway onto an embankment where it struck a tree and rolled over. It was heavily damaged and leaking fluids, which firefighters cleaned up to prevent a roadway hazard.
