ROLLOVER: Man charged with OUI… two transported to CCH after vehicles crashed into Route 6 median… [VIDEO]
DENNIS – [DEVELOPING] – A male driver transported to CCH will be summonsed to appear in court for OUI charges, sources say…
At about 8:12PM last evening, Massachusetts State Troopers, along with Dennis police and firefighters, responded to a rollover crash involving two vehicles on the westbound side of Route 6 in the area of Exit 9B.
It was initially reported both drivers may have been entrapped. According to Dennis FD, first firefighters on scene found a Honda Element on its side in the median. The female patient from the Honda was assisted from the vehicle and transported in a Dennis ambulance to CCH with injuries that were described as not being life-threatening.
Firefighters also found a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck wedged into some trees in the median. A male driver needed to be extricated. Firefighters used tools to clear away scrub pines and vegetation before being able to free him.
As you will see in the following video, a state trooper then walked the driver to a nearby stretcher and ambulance. The male patient was transported in a Harwich ambulance to CCH with injuries that were described as not being life-threatening. He will be summonsed into court on OUI charges…
Massachusetts State Police are investigating the crash and HN will provide additional details as they become available.

VIDEO – Barnstable Police are investigating what caused a Toyota 4Runner to roll over on Route 6A early this morning.
The call originally came in as a man with a flashlight walking around a suspicious vehicle in the front yard of a home in the area 2715 Route 6A. It turned out to be a single vehicle rollover crash.
Barnstable Rescue also responded to the scene. The driver was banged up and bloody, but refused further treatment…
HN spoke briefly with the young male driver. He did not appear intoxicated and told HN his vehicle lost control after sliding on wet leaves in the roadway.
Barnstable Police are investigating and no further information was available at the time of this report.
